Andrea Hansen, PA-C grew up in the small town of Bowman, North Dakota with a mother as a nurse, imparting a love of medicine and desire to care for others at a young age. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Biology, Andrea completed her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies at Union College in Lincoln, NE in 2010. Andrea maintains membership in the American Academy of Physicians Assistants and the South Dakota Academy of Physicians Assistants. Extensive experience in urgent care and allergy led her to work alongside Dr. Halie Anderson at RCMC. Andrea has enjoyed living in the Black Hills since 2011 and finds time to hike and explore the Hills by UTV with her husband Kief and twin sons.

Abigail Finley, MD

Dr. Finley specializes in the treatment of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Dr. Finley was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her undergraduate education and went on to Tulane University School of Medicine, where she also completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Finley also has a masters in public health from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Dr. Finley is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology and treats both adult and pediatric patients. She specializes in all areas of Allergy and Immunology, including food, environmental, and drug allergies and has training in high-risk allergy.

Dr. Finley moved to Rapid City with her husband and two boys. When not working she enjoys baking, exploring the Black Hills, and spending time with family.

Halie Anderson, MD

Dr. Anderson is originally from Spearfish, South Dakota and attended the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine. She completed a pediatric residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she also served as chief resident and worked as a pediatric hospitalist.

She then went on to complete fellowship training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a leader in the field of adult and pediatric allergy and immunology. While she is a board-certified pediatrician, her fellowship training and board certification for allergy and immunology cover both adult and pediatric patients.

She is one of only five board-certified allergists currently practicing in the state of South Dakota, along with her partner Dr. Abigail Finley. Their specialty brings a much-needed service and expertise to this community.

Her passion is sparked by building relationships with patients and family members and working together to improve health and quality of life.

In her spare time, Dr. Anderson enjoys “chasing” around her three children at various activities, mountain biking with her husband, and listening to audiobooks.

In Colorado, MD's offer shots, drops and lymph node injections and only 1 week wait for an appointment, and can get all info by phone and online. I guess I'll take a trip there.PS to response- I talked to 2 different people on my original call and information was not forthcoming.
