Eric Fausch, MD

Dr. Eric Fausch believes Family Medicine is the sentinel of the healthcare system. The specialty provides whole-person care and interfaces subspecialties with patients and families. With that purpose, he provides evidence-based screenings for early identification of disease and efficient care coordination to help connect patients with subspecialists. His strengths are interpersonal coordination and patient education.

Dr. Eric Fausch completed full-spectrum rural Family Medicine training at Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU) Cascades East residency in 2021. There he practiced primary evaluation and management of complex patients exhibiting multisystemic disease. His training pedigree taught him to facilitate rapid evaluation and referrals in resource-impaired environments. He is excited to establish his practice here in Rapid City, where he serves as a valuable partner in accomplishing patients’ healthcare goals.

Dr. Eric Fausch completed medical education at University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine in 2018. Prior to that, he completed undergraduate education at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. He was raised in many regions of the country (NY, NC, KY, MI, WI, FL) but has found his true home here in the Midwest/mountain west. He shares this journey with his wife Kathryn and three young children. He enjoys tennis, mountain biking, winter sports (skiing and skating), music (listening and performance), and enjoys staring at the night sky through finely-polished glass.
