Obstetrics & Gynecology
Our Obstetrics and Gynecology division focus on meeting the needs of women through the many stages of life. From family planning to postmenopausal symptoms and everything in-between. Our team of five board certified gynecologists provide personal and comprehensive care. Whether you need a yearly physical or have an urgent issue, our physicians are here to see you at your earliest convenience.
Their range of experience includes annual exams, critical for early cancer detection, birth control, fertility issues and treatment of infections or disease. Obstetrics services provide care for mothers and babies during pregnancy, through childbirth and postnatal recovery.
They offer a nonhormonal treatment call MonaLisa Touch to resolve vaginal pain caused by menopause and breast cancer treatments. In addition to MonaLisa Touch, they are now offering the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Intimacy Injection. This treatment utilizes the patient’s own platelets to kick-start natural collagen production and encourages cell growth. The injection activates the body’s local stem cells and enhances vaginal and clitoral function.
Expecting a baby or planning for pregnancy? At Rapid City Medical Center, we’re here to guide you every step of the way. From your first prenatal visit to delivery and postpartum care, our physicians and care team are dedicated to supporting both you and your growing family. We’ve created a comprehensive resource page filled with helpful information about pregnancy, what to expect at appointments, and how we partner with you throughout your journey.
