Chrystal Stephenson, C-NP

Chrystal Stephenson is a certified nurse practitioner with Interventional Pain at Rapid City Medical Center, bringing both advanced clinical training and firsthand experience within the department to her role. Her goal is simple but meaningful: to help people reduce pain, regain function, and return to the activities that make life fulfilling. Chrystal earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University in 2020 and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2025. Her progression from RN to CNP within the same specialty reflects her dedication to growth, excellence, and continuity of care.

Outside of work, Chrystal enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and three children. Whether camping, hiking, hunting, or fishing, her family embraces the Black Hills lifestyle. A proud veteran, Chrystal also previously served in the South Dakota National Guard.

She is honored to continue serving patients at Rapid City Medical Center—now as a nurse practitioner, helping them move toward a more active, healthier future.
