My name is Karlie Zychowski (née Haug), and I’m a current chief resident at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Next year, I will be completing a 1-year endocrine surgery fellowship at the University of Michigan. After I graduate fellowship in July 2027, I’m interested in returning to my hometown of Rapid City to practice as an endocrine and general surgeon. This may be an unconventional platform for a job inquiry, however as Dr. Statz is an alum of Wisconsin surgery and has taken care of my family members in the past, I thought I’d give it a shot.
